Super Mario Bros. 1 really needs no explanation as it is one of the most recognizable and well known videogames of all time, and really only competes with the likes of Pac-Man, Space Invaders and Pong in popular culture retro-cool. This is a game that your grandma and grandpa likely even know about, and your parents have probably played it at some point.
SMB is available for Wii Virtual Console, on the NES, for Game Boy Color as Super Mario Bros. DX (which includes numerous additions and enhancements) and for Super Nintendo as part of the “Super Mario All-Stars” compilation.
Hidden throughout the game’s 8 worlds are numerous secrets, including hidden blocks, hidden Stars, Fire Flowers, Mushrooms and 1UP Mushrooms, Warp Zones and vines that take you to hidden areas full of coins and pipes that you can enter to access secret areas.
