Demon’s Souls finally releases in Europe on June 25, 2010 thanks to Namco Bandai

Demon's Souls: Black Phantom Europe Edition. Collection includes soundtrack CD, artbook and strategy guide
Demon’s Souls is finally officially hitting Europe on June 25th with the “Demon’s Souls: Black Phantom Edition” announced publisher Namco Bandai.

It’s been a long wait for the rest of the world, but it will surely be worth it. The PlayStation 3-exclusive will also be releasing in the Middle East, Africa, and Pacific Asia regions.

To thank gamers for their long wait, the Black Phantom Edition will include extras such as:

* A soundtrack CD.
* An art book.
* An all-new included strategy guide.

For some strange reason, the critical and commercial hit Japanese game, which was published in Japan by Sony themselves and in America by Atlus USA, was not picked up by any publisher for release outside these regions until now (thank you Namco Bandai!).

That’s despite the game being a huge success in America (both commercially and critically), surprising pretty much everyone and breaking into the top 10 upon it’s debut. Demon’s Souls sold over 200,000 copies in the USA and helped Atlus post a profitable quarter. And it will most surely be a cult hit for years to come.

Here’s a video review of the game.
