iPad launch games and prices
iPad launch games and pricing have been revealed for Apple’s upcoming device, which launches on April 3rd and will succeed the iPod Touch (not necessarily the iPhone since the iPad lacks phone calling).

With the huge screen for the device comes not only an upgrade in graphics capability in a lot of your favorite iPhone games, but also an upgrade (or perhaps we should say a downgrade) in price . . . Expect to pay more expensive prices in general no matter what it is you are buying.

I also must say that the whole “HD” naming trend is annoying . . . looks like the ol’ Nintendo conventions of putting the system name after the title of a game will live on thanks to the iPad.

iPad launch games list and prices:

1. Flight Control HD ($5)
2. Labyrinth 2 HD ($8)
3. Cro-Mag Rally for iPad ($10)
4. Enigmo Deluxe ($10)
5. Otto Matic for iPad ($10)
6. Sparkle HD ($3)
7. Boggle
8. Sudoku Real Edition
9. Bugdom 2 for iPad
10. Real Checkers
11. PuzzleManiak for iPad
12. Galaxy Control 2
13. Ammoin HD

As you can see in the prices above, games have increased quite a bit in price. Flight Control for iPad is now $5 instead of 99 cents like on the iPhone. Labryinth 2 has increased from $5 to $8, and Enigmo Deluxe jumps wildly from $3 to $10. Although pricing isn’t final and flux is to be expected, so it’ll be interesting to see how the pricing goes once the iPad actually launches.
