In this Dante’s Inferno Dark Forest DLC walkthrough, you’ll see the beginning to ending moments of cutscenes and gameplay in this first downloadable content expansion for EA’s visionary interpretation of the literary classic by Dante Alighie.

Dark Forest is an extra DLC prologue level loosely based on the opening of The Divine Comedy, which sees Dante in a dark forest before meeting Virgil. This is a section of the original game that isn’t playable, but thanks to the DLC, players now get to actually experience this intro part of the story and play through it themselves.

Included in the DLC are two new enemies known as the “Forest Siren” and the “Death Knight”, which involve a new series of puzzles for the player to solve. In addition to the new level with a new story and new puzzles, the DLC also includes an additional “Disco Inferno” costume, which is a novelty piece in the style of polyester disco fashion wear, and a new Stone of Wrath relic.

The Dark Forest content also includes two new Achievements/Trophies to unlock. They are:

1. Dark Forest (20 Points/Bronze Trophy) – Complete the Dark Forest on any difficulty.
2. Clear Path Not Lost (20 Points/Bronze Trophy) – Complete the Dark Forest without getting lost once.
