Below you’ll find Metro 2033 cheat codes and an Achievements list for this post-apocalyptic shooter from Ukrainian-based 4A Games. The game itself is based on the Russian novel of the same name by author Dmitry Glukhovsky.

Set in the shattered subway of a post apocalyptic Moscow, Metro 2033 is a story of intensive underground survival where the fate of mankind rests in your hands. In 2013 the world was devastated by an apocalyptic event, annihilating almost all mankind and turning the earth’s surface into a poisonous wasteland. A handful of survivors took refuge in the depths of the Moscow underground, and human civilization entered a new Dark Age.

The year is 2033. An entire generation has been born and raised underground, and their besieged Metro Station-Cities struggle for survival, with each other, and the mutant horrors that await outside. You are Artyom, born in the last days before the fire, but raised Underground. Having never ventured beyond your Metro Station-City limits, one fateful event sparks a desperate mission to the heart of the Metro system, to warn the remnants of mankind of a terrible impending threat. Your journey takes you from the forgotten catacombs beneath the subway to the desolate wastelands above, where your actions will determine the fate of mankind.

Pre-Order Bonus Code for Auto Shotgun

Those who pre-ordered Metro 2033 from GameStop received a nice, exclusive bonus in the form of the Auto Shotgun. The weapon could be downloaded as DLC if you have a voucher with the code that came with your reserved copy of the game. Those who reserved the game through Steam got a free copy of Red Faction: Guerrilla (but did not get the Auto Shotgun).

Xbox 360 and PC-Steam Achievements List

Earn the Achievement to get the corresponding amount of GamerPoints added to your GamerScore.

1. Air gunner (30) – Kill 30 enemies using pneumatic weapons.
2. Cowboy (30) – Kill 30 enemies using revolvers.
3. DJ Artyom (30) – On the level “Outpost” reach the radio tower and broadcast the commander’s message.
4. Demolitionist (30) - Blow up the tunnel and airlock at “Cursed” station.
5. Enlightened (20) – Find the truth.
6. Exorcist (20) – Complete levels “Ghosts” and “Anomaly” without dying.
7. Explorer (30) – There is no place in metro you did not visit
8. Fire in the hole (25) - Kill 20 lurkers.
9. First blood (5) – What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.
10. Fugitive (30) – Complete level “Armory” without getting caught.
11. Generous (10) – Help the poor, a coin for the kid, medicine for the sick. You help everyone you see.
12. Heavy Metal (20) – Kill 15 enemies using stationary machine gun.
13. Heavy Reader (20) – Kill a librarian.
14. Hedge-hopper (30) - On the level “Frontline” kill all of the enemy Red Army and Fascist Soldiers.
15. If it’s hostile, you kill it (20) – Become a true ranger.
16. Inquisitor (35) – Kill 2 demons.
17. Invisible man (40) – Complete “Frontline” level without killing anyone.
18. Ka-Boom! (30) - Explode 10 enemies.
19. Merciful (30) – Complete the level “Black Station” without killing any Fascist Soldiers.
20. Metro Trader (20) – Make 10 deals in weapon shops.
21. Metro dweller (20) – A true metro citizen. You know everyone and have seen everything.
22. Ninja (30) – Kill 10 enemies with throwing knives.
23. Nosalis hunter (30) – Kill 30 nosalises.
24. Old school (30) – Kill 30 enemies with the double-barreled shotgun.
25. Pathoanatomist (20) – Kill 5 amoebas.
26. Pyro (20) – Kill 5 enemies with a flamethrower.
27. Quick-witted (30) - Break the support and activate the chandelier in less than 20 seconds.
28. Quick Draw (30) – On the level “Hunter” kill the nosalises before they break through the ventilation grilles.
29. Raider (30) – On the level “Depot” silently kill the first guard and break into the Fascist station unnoticed.
30. Ranger (30) – Find all Ranger stashes in Dead City 1 and 2
31. Realist (10) – A coin for a hungry kid? Get a job.
32. Rescue Ranger (30) – Save a group of “Reds” from Fascist captivity.
33. Scrooge (30) – Save 500 military grade rounds.
34. Sherlock (20) – Found all gold ammo, hidden throughout the stations.
35. Slice & Dice (30) – Kill 20 enemies with the knife.
36. Sniper (30) – Make 25 headshots.
37. Soft Touch (30) – Disarm 10 wire traps.
38. Tank Buster (20) – Destroy fascists’ Panzer.
39. Wheeler-Dealer (25) – Exchange 500 Military Grade 5.45 rounds at Exchange kiosks.
