Mass Effect 2 new Kasumi team member DLC coming up

Kasumi will join your Mass Effect 2 team in the upcoming downloadable content called “Kasumi’s Stolen Memory” which has a release date of April 6, 2010.

Kasumi is the newest and final addition to your Mass Effect team. Not much is known about her though, outside of the fact that “Cerberus has contracted her to assist Commander Shepard in the mission to save mankind”.

Her official bio reads like this:

“The galaxy’s most enigmatic thief Kasumi has enemies everywhere, but only a few could put a face to her name. Not much is known about her, other than Cerberus has contracted her to assist Commander Shepard in the mission to save mankind. In exchange, she requires help with a dangerous heist to infiltrate the vault of a deadly criminal known as Donovan Hook.

Kasumi is master of stealth and eluding her enemies, her unique skills and technical expertise will be a valuable assets to Cerberus and Commander Shepard.”

In order to get her to help you, the player must first assist her in infiltrating the vault of criminal art collector Donovan Hook.

The DLC mission also includes a Locust weapon, a new achievement and other goodies. Also remember that the Firewalker DLC is expected to release sometime this month.
