In this God of War 3 walkthrough, you’ll see the beginning and ending moments of cutscenes and gameplay in a video guide for this final entry in the God of War Trilogy series and the conclusion of the Kratos storyline. The game was released exclusively for the PlayStation 3 on March 16, 2010.
INDEX OF GOD OF WAR 3 GUIDES:
Set in the realm of Greek mythology, God of War III for the last time puts Kratos at the center of the carnage and destruction as he seeks revenge against the Gods who have betrayed him. A single-player game, this final chapter allows players to take on the climatic role of the ex-Spartan warrior, Kratos, as he treads through the intimidating heights of Mt. Olympus and the dark depths of Hell once more to seek revenge on those who have betrayed him. Armed with double-chained blades, Kratos must take on mythology’s darkest creatures while solving intricate puzzles throughout his merciless quest to destroy Olympus.
Please note that viewers must be at least 18 to watch, so no harm comes to those with innocent eyes.
Starting launch week, these videos will be replaced with a tips & tricks version. As commentator Jester says, the format for this walkthrough is going through the game’s 11 Acts. We’ll also add level save file, boss battle and puzzle names, so it’s easy to find the part you need help with by pressing “CTRL” and the “F” keys on your keyboard at the same time to search for the chapter you want help on. Let’s begin!
The first Act is titled “Beginning”.

The second Act is titled “Hades”.

The third Act is titled “The City of Olympia”.

The fourth Act is titled “Mount Olympus”.

The riddle of the Muses is quite tricky. First you need to put together the sword pieces in the center of the room to resemble a whole sword. To do this glide up on the right side and turn the wheel cranks until they make resembles a sword down below.
The order from left to right is: Turn the 1st crank once, skip the 2nd, turn the 3rd wheel three times, and the 4th wheel three times.
Then go back down to the “ancient” PlayStation buttons.
The button presses in the right order are: X, X, X, O, square, O, square, X, triangle, square, O, triangle, square + X together, square, triangle, square + X together, triangle, triangle + O together, triangle + O together, X, square, square + X together, O, triangle, triangle + O together.
Either write them down on paper to read them as you play OR practice, practice, practice a whole lot until you’ve got the order memorized.

Aside from getting the Electric Blades weapon, having to fight Hephaestus and visiting his wife Aphrodite’s Chamber again, you also find the way to solve The Upper Gardens Puzzle by using your new weapon to charge up the dysfunctional/broken crank that moves the paths above the garden.

Watch if you want to know how to solve the maze puzzle in Hera’s garden.

The last part of the maze puzzle solution in Hera’s garden is revealed.

Tactics on how to beat the Giant Scorpion. Defeating him will give you the Boreas Icestorm AKA the Ice Key.
Protip: Grab the “little” scorpions and rip off their tails for? both health and red orbs.

Here’s how to get through the Daedalus designed Labyrinth Puzzles.

Confront your father to save Pandora.

The fighting continues in Gaia’s Heart.

Be sure to watch the video to the end, past the credits, where you see the real ending.

i was just listening to the episode where you tried to explain why you have so many orbs. but you are upgraded so that excuse is not true either. and you already have all your gorgon eyes and what not before you could. i think what you meant to say was. i cheat. but your walk through is still very helpful.
Hello, I love all of the god of wars but I must say this one is my favorite. Thank you so much for making all of these videos, I got stuck a couple of times and you have really helped me out. I say this since most other sites for walkthroughs don’t have videos first of all and you go into detail about things that are important to me in the game and that is awesome. I just wanted to thank you and you did a great job with the walkthrough.
Thank you Jester, your walkthrough completely helped me max my weapons and totally destroy Zeus, he was no match with your walkthrough and now he lay in death and pity.
