Bodycount game revealed from creators of Black. OXM coverstory
Bodycount is an all-new first-person shooter from the creators of last-gen’s “gun-porn” title Black, and has been revealed via an exclusive coverstory in the latest issue of OXM (Official Xbox Magazine).

It is being developed by Codemasters Guildford, which is headed by Stuart Black who worked on the original FPS cult-classic “Black” while at Criterion. Several key members of his old team are also here to work on the new game for a developer that is 80 members strong. Also included are executive producer Tom Gillo from Sony London and senior producer Andrew Wilson from Black Rock.

No information on the game is yet available outside of the fact that it went into production 12 months ago and is a “a spectacular and frankly mental first-person shooter” according to OXM. It will also use the EGO Engine which was used in games like Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, Race Driver: GRID and Colin McRae: DiRT.
