Digimon RPG is coming to the West as Digimon Battle thanks to WeMade Entertainment. This will be the official English release of the free Korean MMO; a game for which English patches also exist but are unofficial.

The game will most likely be released next month and you can see the game in action in the trailer below.

This kid-friendly MMO works in typical Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game fashion, although battles are performed by the Digimon that you’ve captured and not by your actual avatar.

Players can choose to play as Takato Matsuki, Rika Nonaka, Henry Wong, and Jeri Katou from the Digimon Tamers anime, where they can choose their own name and change their appearance (although there isn’t a ton of customization).

After choosing a starter Digimon (Gigimon, Gummymon, or Viximon) players can then take part in certain events depending on the Digimon chosen and can further grow their collection by battling and catching additional Digimon to use while evolving their Digimon. They can also partake in various missions given by NPCs, as per the norm in MMO’s.

Here is the trailer for the game.
