PixelJunk Shooter 2 in development announces Q Games
Pixel Shooter 2 has been confirmed to be in development by Q Games head Dylan Cuthbert in talking to G4.
No other details were revealed on the game other than the fact that it is being worked on alongside another game Q Games is making that is actually NOT a “PixelJunk” title and isn’t part of the PixelJunk universe.
To quote Dylan Cuthbert:
“Normally sequels are just a re-hashing of the ideas in the original. But for PixelJunk Shooter we still have a ton of ideas on the drawing board and the engine has lots of potential we want to use before moving onto our next idea. It would be a waste not to use it to try out more stuff.”
Like all of the PixelJunk series, the game will be release exclusively on the PS3.
