The Sims 3 coming to Consoles and Handhelds in Holiday 2010
The Sims 3 for consoles has been confirmed by Electronic Arts for release this holiday 2010.
The console versions of the game were announced in a 3rd Quarter earnings call but no details, including what console, and handheld platforms, they’d be released for.
The consoles versions will most likely be: Wii, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
The handheld versions will most likely be: Nintendo DS and maybe PSP. — The game has already been released on iPhone / iPod Touch last year.
The Sims 3 really needs no introduction, as the computer player-focussed series, which has been released on PC and Mac so far, has sold in excess of over 5.9 million units to date!
