Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars announced for Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, DS and PC in fall 2010

Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars has been announced by TT Games and LucasArts as the third entry in the best-selling Lego Star Wars series of family friendly platform action games.
This newest game promises to combine all the best elements of all the previous Lego games while also adding brand new gameplay elements to make it the best Lego game yet. It is once again developed by Traveller’s Tales, the same team that has created all the other Lego games (Lego Star Wars, Lego Indiana Jones, Lego Batman, etc.) and will be released this Autumn for Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, PC, DS and Wii.
Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars is based on the animated series of the same name and will include all of the characters from both seasons of the show, as well as fan favorites from the Star Wars film saga.
All-new to this game are head-to-head battle modes and an upgraded level builder that allows more customization than ever before, including the ability to create customized basses and in-game battlefields! Gamers can play as either a Jedi or a Separatist, which gives you all-new powers including Squad command, Lightsaber slicing, Lightsaber Jumps, Long-distance Jedi Attacks and new Grapple Tie-Ups. The game will also include a new, easy-to-navigate hub.
“LucasArts continues to set the bar for next-generation family entertainment,” said Darrell Rodriguez, president of LucasArts. “The LEGO Star Wars franchise is a massive hit with fans, bringing in sales of over 20 million units worldwide. We’re thrilled to extend this experience to LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, delivering the humour and fun players expect from this award winning franchise.”
“The team at TT is working hard at making this simply the best LEGO game ever with all new gameplay and features never before seen in a LEGO game.”
