Transformers G1: Awakening game announced for iPhone
Transformers G1: Awakening will be getting an iPhone/iPod Touch updated version with slicker graphics announced Glu Mobile.
The game is an accessible turn-based strategy title based on the classic animated series, that mixes turned-based strategy gaming with more accessible conventions in a chess-like manner. Each piece that you move on the grid on your turn has its own strength and weaknesses. So Optimus Prime is your average bot unit who is more of an all-rounder, while other bots will have more specific stats.
When the two sides collide, an animated battle sequence ensues and ye with the best stats wins.
Even though the game is meant for casual play, more experienced hardcore gamers will be able to get more out of it the more they invest into it, and there is lots of fun strategy play to be found.
The game will be “coming soon” to iPhone.
