Army of Two 3 to continue from the Army of Two: The 40th Day end

Army of Two 3 sequel (Army of Three?) pretty much inevitable
Army of Two 3 will take off from where Army of Two: The 40th Day ends, according to Electronic Arts’ Alex Hutchinson in speaking to IncGamers.

He told them that the ending for Army of Two: The 40th Day throws more questions at the player than answers And they hope to tie up those loose ends in the inevitable Army of Two 3. Of course, whether a third game will be made or not depends on how well Army of Two: The 40th Day sells.

“One thing we’ve never talked about yet with anyone is the ending of the game, and there are some things that happen at the end of the game that ask questions about the sequel which we think are very interesting and people are going to be excited by,” he said. “Hopefully it sells well enough for us to do another one. I think the team really believes in this game – we’ve made huge progress, so if you like the first one at all, you’ll really, really love this new one. So hopefully we’ll get to do another one, but as always, the market decides. That’s how it goes.”

Another day another sequel. Not surprising in the least, but I wonder if they’ll pick a more imaginative name next time? Like simply “Army of Three” or somesuch.
