Remedy’s highly anticipated Alan Wake is one of the top 100 biggest games of 2010, and has been a long-time in the making, having originally been announced at E3 2005. However its arrival is finally close to reality as the game is scheduled for release this May exclusively on Xbox 360.

And like any good modern game, Remedy has already revealed that DLC for the game is already in the works for Alan Wake’s post-release.

The DLC for the game will come in the form of additional downloadable episodes that will expand on the game and its fiction. The game itself is broken into episodes like a TV show, and is described as “the TV show Lost, as written by Stephen King, and filmed by David Lynch,” according to Microsoft Entertainment & Devices head Robbie Bach. He continues, “story-driven like a TV series, Alan Wake will be told in episodes with even more episodes available on Xbox Live after its launch this year.”

I personally am totally pumped for this amazing looking game. It’s definitely one of my top 5 most anticipated games of 2010.
