Burnout Paradise 2 not in development with Criterion working on Need For Speed 2010
Burnout Paradise 2 is not in development by Criterion in favor of the Need for Speed franchise, of which they have confirmed (via the Criterion Games Twitter page) that they are now working on the 2010 version of the popular high-speed racing franchise.
This will come as quite the disappoint for many racing fans the world over for whom Burnout Paradise, including its past DLC, made it one of Criterion’s best titles yet.
However some people may see this news as a positive thing if they are a fan of the Need for Speed racing series, which is in need of some fresh blood and a new perspective in the eyes of many players.
Now we just await some ACTUAL news on the project . . .
