Sega gives 40% discount on Wii Virtual Console games
Sega are celebrating the Christmas season with holiday Virtual Console savings for select Sega console games!
This mega holiday sale started on Christmas Day and will run all the way until January 6th for both American and European Wii owners.
Every game in the list below has been discounted 40%, down from 800 Wii Points to 500 Wii Points. That means you can pick up some sweet Genesis games for the cost of an NES/Master System title!
The list of Sega Genesis games on sale for 500 Wii Points includes:

Sales on the Wii Virtual Console are sadly a rare thing. So kudos for Nintendo and Sega for putting this deal together.
Over the weekend I myself spent a ton of money for the first time on both Steam and Good Old Games. And the reason this non-PC gamer decided to start up a PC game collection is quite simply due to their awesome Christmas sale prices. I cannot deny the purchase of a quality game for cheap, and neither can millions of other gamers around the globe. So hopefully this sale will be a big success for Sega and Nintendo and will make them see the light. I don’t own any of the above for Virtual Console, so I know I’ll definitely be thinking about picking up some cheapies but goodies before the end of the sale.
