The Video Game Awards 2009 winner is Uncharted 2

Although the 2009 Video Game Awards from SpikeTV made most of the news headlines due to all of their world premier trailers and videogame announcements, the actual focus of the show is really the awards themselves.

To that end, Uncharted 2 took home the top prize of Game of the Year along with three other awards, these include Best Graphics and Best PlayStation 3.

The next biggest winners of the night were Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with Best Shooter and Best Multiplayer Game, and X-Men Origins: Wolverine with Best Cast and Best Performance By A Human Male for Hugh Jackman’s work in the game.
