Halo: Reach screenshot. Team Spartan ftw!
Probably the most exciting trailer shown at the Video Game Awards 2009 on SpikeTV was the first ever gameplay trailer for Halo: Reach!

Although granted the trailer is simply a cut-scene and isn’t gameplay footage, it still gives you a good idea of the concept in the game and gives you a nice look at all the different Spartans as you can see in the picture above.

Without further ado here is the new trailer.

Halo: Reach will be the last Bungie-developed Halo game and will be released in Spring of 2010 exclusively for Xbox 360. The game is a prequel to Halo: Combat Evolved and takes place during the Battle of Reach, featured in the Halo: The Fall of Reach and Halo: First Strike books. Though the game is set near the end of the Human-Covenant War. It follows the actions of Noble Team, a United Nations Space Command special operations unit composed of six SPARTAN-II supersoldiers as you can see in the new trailer. Players assume the role of the Lieutenant, a replacement for a presumably deceased member of the Noble squad and is identified by the callsign Noble Six.
