Ubisoft has announced Racquet Sports exclusively for the Wii. It will be released in March of 2010.

Taking advantage of the Wii MotionPlus accessory, the game promises to offer a multitude of racquet-based sports with realistic physics and motion-based gameplay. As you’d expect from a game with “raquet” in the title.

The game includes five different sports that include: Tennis, Ping-Pong, Badminton, Squash (essentially Racquetball) and Beach Tennis. There will also be five different game modes including Career, Special Rules, Party Mode, Random and Teams.

In addition, this will be the second game to use Ubisoft’s own Wii Camera that ships with their “Your Shape” fitness game. Although exactly how the camera will be used wasn’t disclosed.

Here is the debut trailer for the aptly-named Raquet Sports.

The game looks a little too close to Wii Sports Resort for comfort. But like that game it looks like it could be a fun casual title.
