Here are all 30 Halo 3 ODST audio logs map locations if you want to unlock the Audiophile achievement or see Sadie’s Story.
Below is a very useful video guide that will help you locate the all-important Audio Logs in Halo 3: ODST for the Xbox 360. If you can manage to find all thirty audio logs, they will combine to form a meta-game entitled “Sadie’s Story”. In addition, finding the logs will also unlock several Achievements.
These Achievements are as follows: “Listener”, “Tuned In”, “All Ears” and “Audiophile”.
The video below pinpoints the location of all the audio logs within the streets of Mombasa. Here is a tip for the 30th one, you will need to find the first 29 beforehand, then the 30th log is obtained on a timed run.

Audio Log Locations Guide Video 1
The general location of Audio Log 1 can be found to the left of the pit. Look for a yellow phone.
The general location of Audio Log 2 is in an open area. Climb on the raised platform and use the ATM.
The general location of Audio Log 3 is under an awning. There will be an ATM on the left-hand side.
The general location of Audio Log 4 is under a building. Climb some stairs and you’ll see the phone on the right side.
The general location of Audio Log 5 is around a bend down a road. To the side is a booth, containing the audio log.
The general location of Audio Log 6 is in the underground road. Find the entrance to the underground road, then follow it until you are on the opposite side of the entrance. You’ll see the log on the wall.
The general location of Audio Log 7 is located near a yellow sign, beneath a door you can open. To find it look first for the Covenant Shield that blocks the road.
The general location of Audio Log 8 is along a balcony lit up red. You’ll see a gray door you can open on the left wall. Go inside it and find the log in the medical station.
The general location of Audio Log 9 in a gazebo in the center of an area. To find it, look for an area next to a dead end with an orange light at the end. Go through the door beneath a yellow sign to your left. You’ll find the area with the gazebo.
The general location of Audio Log 10 is in the center of a roundabout. You’ll want to destroy the Covenant there first, then head inside the structure on the roundabout. You’ll see the log.
The general location of Audio Log 11 is beneath some debre on the side of a road.
The general location of Audio Log 12 is atop some storage containers and creates that you’ll need to cilmb to a balcony nearby. You’ll find the audio log in the telephone.
The general location of Audio Log 13 is inside some glass automatic doors at the back of an area. Go inside and walk to the end of the corridor. You’ll find it inside an ATM to your left.
To find Audio Log 14, walk alongside a balcony and you’ll see an area to your right. The audio log is inside an info console on the rightside wall.
Follow a yellow lined road for Audio Log 15. You’ll find it in an info console to the left of the street.
Audio Log 16 is under an awning to the left before a turret. You’ll find the log inside.
Audio Log 17 is found by climbing some stairs in a dark area with a blue and orange lights/posters. Turn left and follow the path which will lead to the audio log.
Audio Log 18 is on a small raised platform inside a very dark section of the road. The platform is to your left and you’ll find an ATM with it.
To find Audio Log 19, look for a blue sign. To the right is the area you want to enter beneath a door you can open. You’ll find an info console at the end of the room inside.

For Audio Log 20, enter the door beneath a red door that reads “Look Out!!” To the back of the room is an ATM with the audio log.
The general location of Audio Log 21 is inside an informational booth in the middle of the square.
To find Audio Log 22, you’ll need to go just to the left of a green lit opening. You’ll find a medical booth that has the audio log.
For Audio Log 23, you’ll need to enter a door on the right near a “TE” sign. Inside is a phone on a counter that has the audio log.
For Audio Log 24, you’ll need to keep going past a dead end. You’ll find the Audio Log on the wall opposite of a locked door.
For Audio Log 25, you’ll find it in the middle of a square. There will be an ATM in front of a planter to the right.
The general location of this Audio Log is along a road, where you’ll easily see it sitting on a wall to the left side.
For Audio Log 27 you’ll find an area to the right of a small traffic island that is in between two streets. There will be an ATM inside with the log.
The general location of Audio Log 28 is in the middle of an open area. It’s hard to miss.
For Audio Log 29, you’ll enter a door under a red light and then need to head up some stairs there. Follow the hallway onto a balcony that contains the log.
To find Audio Log 30 at last, you’ll need to have first collected all of the above 29 Audio Logs. Now you’ll need to make your way through the Data Hive mission as normal until you meet a Marine that’s by himself. Now follow him until he goes through a door in an icy area to the left. You’ll then find the Audio Log at the back of the room on a wall.
Finally, in the videos below you can see and hear Sadie’s Story in its entirety in English. Sadie Endesha is a civilian in New Mombasa during 2552 when the Covenant accidentally find Earth. This is her story that takes place the same day but before the ODST story begins. It’s told within 30 audio files that are scattered around the night city and are found by the Rookie. They fill in the back-story of Halo 3: ODST and what Dare is looking for in New Mombasa. Sadie’s Story was developed by the same people who wrote ilovebees. There is more dialogue in this “side story” then the main plot!
