Looking for all the Borderlands Claptrap Locations in the Xbox 360, PS3 or PC version? Below is a video guide to locating all 10 of them in the game.
Each time you collect a Claptrap, you will get a “Storage SKU” item. This item gives you 3 extra storage slots! However you must first go into your inventory after collecting a Claptrap, then go to the Upgrades section where you will see the new item. Use it to get your inventory upgraded.
Collect all of them to have a whopping 42 storage slots! In addition, you will earn the “Fully Loaded” Achievement/Trophy for getting all the Claptraps in the game.

Claptrap 1-5 Locations
Claptrap 6-10 Locations
Here is a list of where all of the Claptrap’s are located:
LOST MINES
Location – You will easily come across this Claptrap in the middle of a path as you make your way through the mine.
Repair Kit – Is also easily found, at the waypoint, in a pipe.
Reward? – No reward.
SLEDGE’S SAFEHOUSE
Location – Near the start of Sledge’s Safehouse you will see a ramp. After making your way up it and down from upstairs, you’ll reach a hallway. Make a right turn here. You will see the Claptrap down the hallway.
Repair Kit – Back up the stairs near the way point you will find the Repair Kit. It is hidden above your head, just look up to find it.
Reward? – Shows you to a weapons locker.
NEWHAVEN
Location – You’ll find this Claptrap next to the Bounty Board.
Repair Kit – At the waypoint, you’ll find the Repair Kit above where you are standing on the balcony. To get there jump and press the loot button in mid-air!
Reward? – Shows you to a weapons locker.
Tetanus Warren
Location – After you come to the fork in the tunnel road, you’ll find this ClapTrap n the South Eastern end of the wall, beside some big boxes.
Repair Kit – From where you found the Claptrap, take the left tunnel (north western). You should be facing East or so and you will see a BBQ’d skag on a spit, this is around where the Repair Kit is. Now take the walkway to your left and turn right when you get to the shelter. Now run and jump to the next shelter and turn right again. Now jump to the next platform where you should see the Repair Kit.
Reward? – No, it just wanders around.
Earl’s Scrapyard
Location – Take a look at the map, which will help you figure out where the Claptrap is located. You’ll see that there are two sections to this area. The Claptrap is located in the section to the north, against the north eastern wall. You’ll find it in a bandit encampment.
Repair Kit – You will find this easily because it is out in the open. From where you found the Claptrap, take a right turn (use your compass), you should see an item cabnet in front of you. Jump onto it. Now look to your left and jump onto the piece of scrap metal that you see. From there, turn to your right. Now jump to the platform where the Repair kit is.
Reward? – No, it just wanders around.
Krom’s Canyon
Location – While wandering through the canyon, you’ll see a fork in the road. Take the rightside path in the fork. If you look at your map, the Claptrap is all the way to the North and then on the Western side. To get to the Claptrap, you must go up a ramp and then across a bridge. You’ll find it in a bandit encampment.
Repair Kit – This Repair Kit can be easily missed because it is held in the air by a rope. From where you found the Claptrap, turn to your East and go across the bridge. After crossing it, turn in the direction of the waypoint. Now you should be able to see the Repair Kit from the ledge. To get up to where it is, you need to jump from rooftop to rooftop. Make sure to shoot any of the barrels you see before jumping.
Reward? – Shows you to a weapons locker.
Trash Coast
Location – You will find this Claptrap past the vending machines. After going past them, you will want to turn South, and then head straight forward. You’ll find the Claptrap in a bandit encampment.
Repair Kit – You will find this Repair Kit high up on top of a pipe. Follow the pipe to the garbage pile located at the first bend in the pipe. Just after that first bend is a pipe support beside a rock. Climb the garbage pile and jump onto the rock, you’ll see a little ledge you can stand atop. From that ledge, walk forward a bit then turn to your right. Jump again onto the rock. Now jump onto the pipe, walk to the end of it, and you can get the Repair Kit.
Reward? – No, it just wanders around.
Old Haven
Location – Rescue the Claptrap from the “Not Without My Claptrap” mission in order to be able to get this Claptrap. Once you enter Old Haven, you’ll see on your map a money symbol at the Southwestern side. The big grayed out building holds the Claptrap you seek. You will find the Claptrap in the south part of the building. A door on the Western side leads to it.
Repair Kit – From the waypoint, you will want to get to the southern side of the building that the waypoint is pointing to. South of the waypoint are some stairs on the next building. Climb atop the stairs and turn so you are facing North. To your left is an opening that you will need to run and jump to cross. Now go to the door on your right to find the Claptrap.
Reward? – There is no reward.
Salt Flats
Location – You will find this Claptrap inside a Flynt encampment. He is located at the digging machine. His specific location isn’t on the digging machine itself but in the walled off area. Inside that walled off area you will find him at the North Eastern point between some cylinder containers.
Repair Kit – Is easily found at the waypoint.
Reward? – Shows you to a weapons crate.
Crimson Fastness
Location – You will find this Claptrap in the room after the New-U and the vending machines, at the southern end of the room.
Repair Kit – You will easily find it at the waypoint.
Reward? – The Claptrap will show you to a room with 2 weapons crates inside. Which is also a shortcut for the “Get Some Answers” mission.
