Homefront 2 already planned by THQ

Homefront 2 is already in the planning stages at publisher THQ according to GameSpot, reporting on the FBR Capital Markets 2009 Fall Investor Conference.
Danny Bilson of THQ was quoted as saying,
“It’s the beginning of a story. We’re going to tell this like a serial, with cliff-hangers. And then we intend to continue the story in [downloadable content], until we go to Homefront 2.”
Laying out THQ’s plans for the future of this new franchise.
Homefront is an upcoming Xbox 360, PS3 and PC FPS developed by Kaos Studios (Frontlines: Fuel of War) in which a nuclear-armed North Korea invades America in the year 2027. The Korean People’s Army then defeats the United States military, reducing the once-glorious superpower to a shadow of its former self.
The game is penned by John Milius, who is known for his work on the scripts for films like Apocalypse Now and Red Dawn. It is scheduled for release on March 27, 2010.
