New Bones TV episode to feature Donkey Kong parody
Bones parodied The King of Kong in the latest episode of the hit crime investigation show.
The King of Kong is a documentary film that chronicled Steve Wiebe in his quest to unseat Billy Mitchell as the best Donkey Kong arcade player ever.
In the Bones episode, gamers Billy Gabel and Steve Rifton, are trying to do the same for a game called Punky Pong . . . until one of them is murdered.
The official episode synopsis reads:
“Steve turned his success into a lucrative partnership with a gaming referee and charged fans to play on the very machine that gave him the perfect score. But between sour business deals and bitter competitors, the team at the Jeffersonian must work to narrow down the many suspects with motive for ending Rifton’s reign as gaming king.”
