Mercenaries 3 confirmed as Mercs Inc

Mercenaries 3 AKA Mercs Inc. has been announced/confirmed by EA as the third entry in the open-world action series.

Since previous developer Pandemic was shut down, EALA has taken over on the developmental duties for this new title. With several key members of the Pandemic team also relocating to the LA studio to work on the game.

No concrete details on the game including its release date and platforms were revealed, however some details can be gleaned for fans in the trailer below.

This work-in-progress video was originally posted on video-sharing site Vimeo (where it’s referred to as multiplatform) by a visual artist who was working on the game. This video was uncovered by Superannuation but has since been taken down (officially).

Here is what EA said about the game in their announcement.

“We are very excited to announce a new instalment [sic] in the popular Mercenaries series because it demonstrates our continued commitment to Pandemic’s rich catalogue of intellectual properties,” EA group general manager Nick Earl said in a statement. He also noted that a “core creative team is forging new ground and conceptualizing new ideas for this exciting franchise.”

That Guy

I loved Mercs 1 and Mercs 2 (despite the latter’s outstanding bugs) and upon finding this, I was equally as excited. However the trailer (at this stage) seems to imply that Mercs 3 is going to be multiplayer only, which is troubling to me.

So what going to happen are thy going to bring back th mercenaries series are thy going to kill it forever. They shouldn’t do that, both games vere amazing and entertaining. Even though the previous screwed up the series they should make better then ever and make it their best accomplishment EVER!!! BRING BACK MERCENARIES…

from what i saw on the first (and last) look of the mercenaries game its taken place in cuba when at the end of world in flames it said that it was going to take place in india they should of kept the 3 main fighters and fiona the airstrike system and damage systems also whats the deal with the robots cuba wouldent be able to get robots so like what the heck they are compleatly ruining the mercenaries franchise
