Tony Hawk Ride 2 getting all systems go

According to Tony Hawk himself Tony Hawk Ride 2 is getting “all systems go with trying to make at least a sequel for [Tony Hawk Ride]“.

In a recent interview the man himself said he’s been working with developer Robomodo on the sequel, when asked if there would be one. This despite the hefty price ($120/£100) for the original with its skateboard peripheral. To quote:

We have already started that process, but who knows what the future holds.

I’ve never had a master plan, especially with our old series, of how many we could do, or how far we could take it. It really was all about the fans and the console technology.

As far as I’m concerned, it’s all systems go with trying to make at least a sequel for this, because I feel like we’ve only just really tapped what’s possible with this technology.”

Developer Robomodo feels the same way and has already admitted Activision has plans to publish snowboarding and surfing games using the skateboard peripheral.
