Phoenix Wright coming to WiiWare in Japan
The popular DS game Phoenix Wright is coming to WiiWare in Japan announced Capcom. The previously DS-exclusive adventure series had been rumored recently to appear for the Wii Shop’s downloadable service, but has now been officially confirmed.
Sadly though, the games will NOT be new but rather ports of the DS titles ported over to the Wii.
The first Phoenix Wright will be released on December 15th at a price point of 900 Wii Points. The 2nd game will be released on January 26th with the third to follow on February 23rd. Both of these will cost 1200 Wii Points.
Finally, something non-rehash will be released on March 16th, 2010. Costing 1200 Wii Points, it will be an all new additional scenario (5th case).
Although we are getting little new, hopefully this will mean that Capcom is, in fact, working on an original Wii or WiiWare Phoenix Wright game. Although it may depend on how well these games sell.
