Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition coming as downloadable content on XBL and PSN after all
Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition will be released as DLC announced Capcom.
This after over 1500 people voted in a poll for DLC compared to 900 who wanted a physical version of the game. Thus, it will be released as only DLC in all major territories outside of Japan.
The Alternative Edition will be released in Spring of 2010 and was announced at the Tokyo Game Show 2009.
In addition to fully supporting the upcoming PlayStation Motion Controller, it will also include an all-new scenario entitled “Lost In Nightmares” that features Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine as they infiltrate the Spence Estate before the Resident Evil 5 game proper takes place.
