A ton of Natal details have been leaked for Microsoft’s upcoming motion-sensing, controller-free device which uses a number of cameras and microphones to track the movements of players.
These details were gleamed from a behind-closed-doors tour that the publisher is making to UK publishers in order to show off the device and gain more support for it.
Here is a list of the new details according to MCV:
* Release date of November 2010 worldwide.
* 14 NATAL-enabled games will be available at launch.
* SKUs will include bundles with the camera, standalone and even console bundles with the NATAL included.
* It will be very cheap. Could even go as low as $30. Microsoft wants the camera to be as close in price to an “impulse buy” as possible.
* Activision, Bethesda, Capcom, Disney, EA, Konami, MTV, Namco Bandai, Sega, Square Enix, THQ and Ubisoft have all committed to making games for the NATAL.
* A large portion of games will most likely be first-party from Microsoft and second parties like Rare.
* The “Milo game” may or may not be in the launch window.
* NATAL will be released nearly five-years after the release of the Xbox 360 itself, and is seen by many to be their way of trying to extend the life of the console.
