Tales of Vesperia coming to Wii as well as PS3?

I want to be on your Wii! (Tales of Vesperia screenshot)
Tales of Vesperia may be coming to the Wii as revealed by Japanese voice actor Rikiya Koyama. The game is already available on both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.

According to the voice actor:

“Tales of Vesperia is coming out on one thing after another: Xbox 360, then PS3, and now upcoming, goes on sale even on the Wii. More shortly, the feature film anime version is also opening in theaters (But I’m not in it…), and after that, there’s also a CD.”

The game originally had “next-gen”-style graphics, so a Wii port of the game is a surprise. In addition to that, the Wii also has another Tales game in the works, called Tales of Graces.

Then again, Namco Bandai recently suffered a $66.7 million loss, so they could use all the money they can get, and porting games is one of the quickest ways to make a fast buck.

Or it could be that the voice actor got Tales of Graces and Tales of Vesperia mixed up. Either way we’ll have to wait for an official announcement from Namco. For now take this with a grain of salt.

Update: Rikiya Koyama has updated his blog stating that he was, in fact, referring to Tales of Graces for the Wii and NOT a Wii port of Tales of Vesperia. He apologized for the confusion.
