Child’s Play Charity 2009 Drive launched by Penny Arcade
The annual Child’s Play Penny Arcade 2009 charity is on once again. As we have covered in years past such as for the 2008 Child’s Play charity, gamers are once again using the force of their wallet’s to make the world a better place.
They do this by buying toys and videogames for various hospitals throughout North America (the United States and Canada) with new hospitals joining the list every year.
This year’s new hospitals are located in the following cities: Dayton, Cleveland, Colorado Springs, Boise, Memphis, or (for Canadians) Victoria, Ottawa and St. John’s.
The charity has barely begun and already over $260,000 dollars have been raised. Last year the charity raked in an amazing $1.4 million dollars in hospital gifts.
VGB donates games and toys to this charity yearly, we recommend everyone do the same “for the children!”
