tryed setting a trigger button for the codes and nothing happens is their a sound when the codes r in properlly

I have steam and followed your guide to the key, when i enter in game and push the ~ key nothing happens, ill even start to push R first and when i start typing my other windows as in stats and inventory open up so it is not recognizing console at all…

ohh yeah and many sites say to create a backup file is it so hard to enable that you should? also if you make a mistake is it an easy fix, several people seem to make minor problems?

ok so i created a shortcut but it wont let me put anything into the target spot?? PLEASE HELP ME
