BlazBlue Portable port announced for PSP in Japan

BlazBlue PSP port announced. Releasing in Japan on February 25, 2010
BlazBlue is coming to the PSP with a portable port of BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger from Arc System Works (which is out now for the Xbox 360 and PS3).

The PSP version will be released in Japan on February 25, 2010 for 5040 yen, but has not been announced for release outside Japan. Although given it’s international popularity, I bet that you can expect it sometime next year.

The game will contain everything from the console ports, including four-player ad-hoc support (no online play apparently) and 12 characters to fight as (including the Unlimited Forms) with the major new addition being a new Legion Mode. In this mode, players will be tasked with strategically moving their characters around a map where they will fight enemies one-on-one to take over new territory.

Note that this new PSP game is not to be confused with BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, an updated version of the original game that will hit Japanese arcades later this year.
