COP The Recruit characters list

C.O.P.: The Recruit has a cast of 10 characters and is an open-world combination of action, shooting and driving for the Nintendo DS. It will be released on November 3rd in America and is out now in Europe.
In the game, you are Dan Miles, a former underground street racer and now a new recruit in the Criminal Overturn Program (C.O.P.). Under the terms of the C.O.P., Dan has become a street detective working to protect New York citizens against large-scale threats. Working with his mentor, Detective Brad Winter, Dan is investigating a series of terrorist attacks in the city when Brad is falsely arrested, putting the investigation on hold. While trying to uncover the truth behind Brad’s arrest, Dan goes undercover and returns to his life on the streets. Little by little he gets wrapped up in a deadly, widespread conspiracy and must work to prevent a potentially catastrophic attack on the city.
Here is an exclusive list of the characters that will appear in C.O.P.: The Recruit:
(You can see what they look like in the image above, starting from left)
1. Jimmy Vartanian
He’s the boss of the local armenian mobsters. He and his men are not violent people but smart businessmen eager to get their hands dirty to exploit the weaknesses of the city. Jimmy earns money officially by getting rid of the city’s garbage, and earns even more by providing safe transport for stolen goods in…garbage trucks. He’s also an amateur of modern art and an old friend of Casey Winter’s.
2. Isgo Vartanian
Jimmy’s younger brother is the owner of the Armenian bar “Isgo’s Well” in Brooklyn. He uses his brother’s business to import sportscars in the U.S. He’s also fond of racing and loves to cruise to Manhattan in an European roadster, and tease the local police in their old cars.
3. Crimp
Detective Winter’s most trusted informant, Crimp has an uncanny knack of knowing everything about all the illegal activities going on in his neighborhood. He acts as your eyes and ears on the street, keeping you one step ahead of your enemies. Nobody seems to know what Crimp does when he’s not helping you out . . . and that’s the way he likes it!
4. Casey Winter
Winter’s younger sister, Casey, is a private person who finds it difficult to trust outsiders – especially friends of her brother! She was suspicious of you when you first met, but the more time you spent together, the better you seemed to get on. You’re even starting to wonder if she likes you as more than just a friend! But what will happen if she finds out about your criminal past?
5. Marty
This young man is Dan’s oldest friend. They were raised in New Jersey and started underground racing together, until Dan was taken away by the CCD and sent to the C.O.P. program. Since then, Marty, who always has been good at fixing cars, has opened a custom car workshop named “Blacktop”, in Long Island.
6. The Rev
He’s the leader and some may say, the guru of the Speed’n Bleed, an underground racing club that goes farther than anyone. The Rev created Speed’n Bleed and manages it like a cult. Sportscars are worshipped, and only great drivers can be initiated and race along with him. The Rev often compares his racing challenge to mythological events.
7. Detective Brad Winter
A senior agent at CCD, Brad Winter arrested you for taking part in street racing and the illegal carrying of a weapon. Despite being on different sides of the law, you seemed to get on well from the start. After he persuaded his bosses to sign you up to the program, you found out that this was because you reminded him of himself at your age. Winter’s a cool guy who always helps you through even your most dangerous missions.
8. Captain Gilroy
He’s the boss of the CCD. The veteran cop was once promoted from the police department to the special unit designed to control the city and its road using hi-tech tools. He managed to establish the CCD and to create strong links with the PD and the coast guard, but never was enough in politics to rise higher. Duty took his toll on him and he’s now a severe a secluded man.
9. Lieutenant Strickland
She has the most impressive record in the department. She was first at the police school and was the youngest lieutenant to be promoted to the CCD, superceding Brad Winter who she worked under before. She now runs the show with Dan being assigned to her as a CCD trainee, and she’s being tough to him, as she wants everything to be done “by the book”.
10. Dan Miles (The Hero)
Welcome to the Criminal Overturn Program! As Dan Miles, a former underground street racer, you chose to join CCD to avoid serving time in a New Jeresy jail. A rebellious teenager, your love of fast cars and extreme danger dragged you and your best friend, Marty, into the criminal world of street racing. You owe your freedom to Detective Brad Winter, who recruited you to the program, and you’re now determined to pay him back using your special skills to fight crime.
11. Bomb Zombies Leader
Little is known about the mysterious head of Bomb Zombies, a feared terrorist group that has been casting a shadow over the USA for years. One thing’s for sure though, he’s the most wanted man in the country. In fact, some terrorism experts fear his organization could pose an even greater threat than previously thought.
