Call of Duty: World at War 2 mentioned in latest OPM

Call of Duty: World At War 2 box artwork (fake) The latest issue of Official PlayStation Magazine has an article mentioning Call of Duty: World at War 2.

The OPM article on page 20 is titled “The Secret Games of 2010.” It says the following about Call of Duty: World at War 2.

To quote: “Insider slips reveal three big names you can already pencil for the next year. Killzone 3 is reportedly deep in development, Insomniac’s Full Moon Show podcast hints at a project we can only conclude is Resistance 3, and a Treyarch employee’s online mentions a Call of Duty: World at War sequel.”

What do you think about a World At War sequel? Is 2010 too soon? Do you think that the game warrants a sequel?

I think a lot people want to see the Call of Duty series go in an entirely new direction or to a new war front. So I wonder if this really would be a direct sequel to World At War.

It’s an interesting development non-the-less. Also mentioned in the article for 2010 is Killzone 3 and Resistance 3, both already reportedly in development.

what about a world at war two more european. you could choose between more countries like canada china britian ussr us japan. you could have like polish and czech maps. and maybe vehicles like planes and tanks. do like battlefield with vehicles.

world at war 2 whith more countries!!canada and more!!! I watch the movie The pianist and the Schindler’s list(two sad movie): call of duty must made world at war 2 with somes story of the jews massacre!!like the jews rebellion and russian enter in Poland!! they have resist april 19 to may 16 1943!

Well, I have to say I agree. I have always wanted to be the axis (Itay, Germany, and Japan) throughout all world war two games but its only happened once (not really) in the the first call of duty where you were the alies for three seperate campaigns. Its a great idea and they will sell more if they do so, also of course, Nazi Zombies has to be in there (one of the many letdowns of MW2, even though I still like MW2) or it will not sell as much.

Btw I dont h8 MW2 it just let me down a little, can we not agree, lol.

i dont think worl at war 2 should have map packs bcuz i think its a waste of money. if u buy the game u should get evry feature tht come with it. mw2 i lovve tht game but there are too many hackers i still play it almost evry day. i think there should be a beta so that no one could hack. u also need to include nazi zombies!!!

I agree with lewisofcheltenham. They need to bring a lot of more zombie levels on the next game. Thats the only reason I still play WAW. Make 20 zombie levels on the next game and it will sell way more copies!!!!!!!

War 2 is a great idea!!!! I loved the first one and would defintely buy it!!!!! I just think they should go toward a new direction like Vietnam or the Korean war…… Maybe even the cold war
