UNLOCKABLE POKEMON LIST
There are certain pokemon that can only be caught when you trigger certain events. Here is the list:
1. Beldum – See Steven’s house after you beat the Elite four.
2. Castform – Take out the rival team at the weather institute.
3. Chikorita, Cyndaquil or Tododile– When you complete the 200 Pokemon of Hoenn. Professor Birch will call you on your Pokenav.
4. Deoxys – Get the Aurara Ticket, and go to Birth Island
5. Groudon – Beat the Elite Four, and go to the land lair.
6. Ho-oh/Lugia – Get the Mystic Ticket, and go to Navel Island
7. Kyogre – Beat the Elite Four, and go to the sea lair.
8. Latios or Latias – After beating the elite four, watch the T.V. downstairs in your house.
9. Latios or Latias – Mix records with a Ruby or Sapphire with the Eon ticket, and go to Southern Island.
10. Mew – Get the Old Sea Chart, and go to Faraway Island
11. Rayquaza – Get Magma and Aqua to get Kyogre and Groudon out of the cave, and go to Sky Pillar.
12. Treeko, Torchic, or Mudkip – Help Proffesor Birch escape the wild pokemon
How to Catch Shedinja
To get Shedinja, you must first catch a Nincada, and have an empty space in your party. People say you need a Pokeball for it, but you do NOT. Shedinja copies the ball the Nincada was caught in. So with one empty space in your party, level up Nincada to level 20. It will then evolve into Ninjask. Now when you check your party, you’ll find Shedinja in the final slot, along with the Ninjask and 4 other Pokemon.
How to Catch Gold/Silver/Crystal Pokemon At The Safari Zone
You can catch Pokemon from the Pokemon Gold, Silver and Crystal versions in Pokemon Emerald. To do this you simply need to beat the Elite Four. After you do so the Safari Zone will be upgraded to include new Pokemon from the Gold/Silver/Crystal versions, such as Houndour, Aipom, Stantler, Mareep, Miltank, and others. This Unlockable works only in Pokemon Emerald.
How to Unlock the Battle Frontier
Simply beat the game and you’ll be able to access the new Battle Frontier. A park dedicated to all style and manner of Pokemon battling.
How to Unlock the Altering Cave
You can go to Altering Cave after you beat the Elite Four. It is located on Route 103.
How to Unlock Trainer Hill
You must beat the Elite Four in order to unlock Trainer Hill.
Mystery Gift Secret Option
There is a Mystery Gift System that allows you to take advantage of Nintendo held events for some really cool additions. To activate this, go to a Poke Mart and press A at the piece of paper on the counter. Then type in these 4 words: “Link Together With All”. The Shopkeeper will notice this, giving you access to the “Mystery Gift” system. After this, save your game. Before starting next time, you’ll notice a new “Mystery Gift” option in the Main Menu. How to Unlock the National Pokedex
Once you have beaten the Elite 4, Prof. Birch will visit you and give you the National Dex once you leave the house. The National Dex records Pokemon from throughout the nation, instead of regional.
How to Find Mirage Island
Mirage Island is an invisble Island located on Route 130. Most of the time it will be invisible except on rare cases, where the island is visible. To find out if the island is there or not, go to Pacifidlog Town and talk to the old man in the bottom right house looking out the window. He will tell you whether the island is there or not. The cause is unknown so a bit of luck is needed to find it. Once you are on the island, you will find the rare Leichi Berry that powers up your Pokemon’s attack in battle when it gets weak. In the grass, you will only find Wild Wynauts.
How to Battle Steven, the Former Pokemon Champion
After you beat the Elite Four, a new part of Meteor Falls opens up. It is in the northwestern corner where you found Iron Tail. Now you will notice that a new cave has opened up. Go inside it and you’ll find Steven, the former Pokemon Champion. His Pokemon are in the high 70’s.

If you have a Pokemon with Cute Charm as the first Pokemon in your Party, you will be more likely draw Wild Pokemon with the opposite gender of the Pokemon with Cute Charm.
How to Avoid Random Encounters With Cut
You can easily get through grassy areas without fighting random Pokemon by using the HM Cut move. Once you have taught Cut to a Pokemon, you can use that Pokemon to cut down trees and slice through grass while on the overworld. The trick is to use Cut to slice the grass in front of you. Do this and you can then walk on the spot without fighting a random Pokemon. Note that if you leave the area and return, the grass will have grown back.
How to Increase Calls From Registered Trainers
If you have a poke’mon with Lightningrod as an ability as the first Pokemon in your party, then you will get calls from Registered Trainers more often.

You can draw wild Pokemon that are holding items more often by having a Pokemon with Compound Eyes as the first Pokemon in your party.
How to Increase Encounters with Electric Pokemon
If you put a Pokemon that has the Static ability as the first Pokemon in your party, you’ll increase the chance of encountering wild Electric-type Pokemon. This is very useful for finding rare Electric Type Pokemon like Pikachu in the Safari Zone.
How to Increase Encounters With Wild Steel Pokemon
You can draw wild Steel Pokemon more often by putting a Pokemon with the Magnetic Pull ability as the first Pokemon in your party. This is very useful for finding rare Steel-Type Pokemon like Mawile.
How to Draw Pokemon of a Higher Level
If you have a Pokemon with Hustle as the first Pokemon in your Party, you will draw Wild Pokemon that have a Higher Level than the Pokemon that has Hustle.
How to Reduce Wild Pokemon Encounters by 10 Percent
If you put a Pokemon that has Intimidate or Keen Eye as the first Pokemon in your party, then the chances of wild Pokemon encounters is reduced by 10%.
How to Make Fishing for Wild Pokemon Easier
If you put a Pokemon that has the Suction Cup or Sticky Hold ability as the first Pokemon in your party, it will increase your chances of fishing for Wild Pokemon. Thus making it easier.
How to Hear Pokemon Cries in the Wild More Often
If you put a Pokemon with the Swarm ability as the first Pokemon in your party, then in addition to increasing Bug-Type Attacks by a whopping 150%, you’ll also hear Pokemon cry in the background (such as in caves) more often.

To hatch an egg much quicker, simply have a Pokemon with either the Flame Body or Magma Armor ability on your team. This will cut the amount of steps it takes to hatch the Pokemon Egg in half!
How to Inherit Pokemon Natures By Breeding
To do this trick, you need to have an Everstone. To get an Everstone, search in Granite Cave for a lone rock on top of a plateau. Once you get an Everstone, let a Ditto or a female Pokemon that you are breeding hold on to it. Once you receive and hatch the eggs, the offspring will have a 50% chance of inheriting the Nature from the Pokemon holding the Everstone.
How To Get Glass Items
On Route 113, to the right of Fallobour Town, you’ll find a house with a man who will make you items if you bring him ash. To collect ash, you must walk through the ash covered grass in the area. Then bring it to the Glass Item Maker. Here is the list of items and how much ash it takes to get them.
1. Blue Flute – Walk 250 steps in the ash.
2. Red Flute – Walk 500 steps in the ash.
3. Yellow Flute – Walk 500 steps in the ash.
4. White Flute – Walk 1,000 steps in the ash.
5. Black Flute – Walk 1,000 steps in the ash.
6. Pretty Chair – Walk 6,000 steps in the ash.
7. Pretty Desk – Walk 8,000 steps in the ash.
Berry Master’s Wife Passwords List
Tell the Berry Master’s Wife certain phrases to receive the following berries. You can only tell her one phrase each day.
1. Tell her “CHALLENGE CONTEST” to receive a Pamtre Berry.
2. Tell her “COOL LATIOS” to receive a Durin Berry.
3. Tell her “GREAT BATTLE” to receive a Spelon Berry.
4. Tell her “OVERWHELMING LATIAS” to receive a Watmel Berry.
5. Tell her “SUPER HUSTLE” to receive a Belue Berry.
How to Get Fishing Rods
1. Old Rod – To get the old rod, go to Dewford Town and talk to the Fisherman near the Gym. He will give you a Old Rod.
2. Good Rod – Talk to the Fisherman on Route 118, East of Mauville City. To reach him you will need the Surf technique. Talk to him and you will get a Good Rod.
3. Super Rod – Go to Mossdeep City. Head north of the Space Center and go into the house. The man inside will give you a Super Rod.
List of Prizes From Scott
Talk to Scott in his house in the Battle Frontier, he’ll give you certain decorations or berries depending on your accomplishments in the Battle Frontier. They include:
1. Gold Shield (Decoration) – Win 100 Battles
2. Lansat Berry – Obtain all Silver Frontier Symbols
3. Silver Shield (Decoration) – Win 50 Battles
4. Starf Berry – Obtain all Gold Frontier Symbols
How to Get the Mental Herb
To get a Mental Herb hold item (which prevents attraction on the Pokemon holding it), find the man with a Wingull in one of the treehouses in Fortree City. Talk to the Wingull, and it will fly off out of the treehouse. Now when you get to Mossdeep City, you will see a person with a Wingull. Talk to the Wingull once more and it will fly off again. This time, go back to Fortree City and into the treehouse where you talked to the first Wingull. Now talk to the man next to the Wingull, and he will give you the Mental Herb Item.
Trainer Card Upgrade Ranks
You can upgrade your Trainer Cards a total of four times by accomplishing certain tasks. These can be obtained in any order. Each time you upgrade one star will be added to your Trainer Card, which also upgrades in color to reflect your new rank.
Bronze Rank – Become Pokemon league Champion.
Copper Rank – Complete the Hoenn Pokedex.
Silver Rank – Collect all the gold symbols in the Battle Frontier.
Gold Rank – Win one ribbon in all five of the Master Rank Pokemon Contests.
How to Get Latias or Latios
After you defeat the Elite Four, go to your house and watch the television downstairs. After you watch it, your mom will ask you what color the Pokemon is. If you say Red, you will find Latias. If you say Blue, it will be Latios.
How to Get the Other Lati
To get the other Lati Pokemon (Latios or Latias, depending on who you choose as listed above), Mix Records with a Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire game that used the Eon Ticket. You can then get to a hidden island via the SS Tidal where you can find the Lati you didn’t choose.

How to Catch Mew in Pokemon Emerald
A single Mew is legally capturable only in Pokemon Emerald Version. You will find him on Faraway Island, which is located “far away” from Hoenn and appears on an Old Sea Map. Captain Briney returns a favor by the ship in Lilycove City to sail to this far-off isle. You will find Mew deep in the forest on this island. However as soon as he sees you, he will flee and hide in the grass. You basically have to corner Mew. Press A when facing him and he will engage you in battle. The only way to legally catch Mewtwo in Pokemon Emerald is to have a friend or someone who has caught Mewtwo in another version of the game give him to you in a trade. Mewtwo is legally capturable in Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen versions, as well as the original Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow versions. He is also capturable in the Cerulean Cave in the upcoming DS HeartGold and SoulSilver remakes.

The only way for someone to legally get Celebi is via a Nintendo Event where Celebi was handed out for free to people who attended.
