Road Rash 7′s HD revival might’ve been cancelled at EA last year
Some new video has surfaced of a next-gen Road Rash game that was to be developed by Electronic Arts and the now defunct EA Warrington studio.
The video reveals an extremely smooth, mindblowingly fast, pre-Vis version of what a new, next-gen Road Rash game MAY have looked like. And it is definitely impressive and looks fun as heck!
Sadly, this game is in all likelihood cancelled. Which is a shame, because the video looks awesome. Hopefully EA will have the sense to pick this exciting series back up and do something with it!
The Road Rash series was first introduced on the Genesis and Sega CD platforms and has spawned multiple sequels on a bunch of different systems, each featruing the series’ token motorcycle violence. There were 6 main games in the series and an N64 port. This most-likely-cancelled version would’ve been the 7th core game in the series.
