Fist of the North Star 2 videogame announced for Xbox 360 and PS3 in Japan
A new Fist of the North Star game has been announced for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Japan from Koei. This is the first next-gen entry in the fighting series, the first of which was released exclusively on the PlayStation 2 in Japan.
This new game is likewise only announced for Japan (so far) and does not yet have a date.
The action title called Hakuto Musou is based on the famous ultra-violent 1980s mange/anime known as Fist of the North Star. The game plays similarly to Dynasty Warriors and stars a character named Kenshiro, a mysterious martial artist who uses his Hokuto Shinken to defeat legions of enemies.
Other characters that will appear in the game include Raoh, Kenshiro’s adoptive brother and chief nemesis in the story’s first part, and Yuria, Ken’s fiancee and a woman who has a habit of being kidnapped.
