The PSP go is good for a person who is new to the psp family, because he does not have any UmD. Its pointless for an upgrader because it cant play umd and there are not many technical advances. Just a few like Bluetooth and 16 GB memory.
And the screen is smaller than the 3000.

I'm sticking with the 3000 series unless Sony can make a few changes to the Go. First, a UMD drive attachment via a USB add-on device would be very helpful to those of us with no credit card or limited internet access. Second, maybe they could offer some sort of prepaid gaming card to buy down-loadable content much like some online MMO companies have developed. Third, Sony would need to revamp the design of the Go to be more like the original concept design where the controls expanded from the sides (maybe throwing a second thumb-stick in the process).

@TeamG12: You can share the games you bought on the PSN across multiple PSP's. I think Sony call it game sharing, so it's definitely allowed. When I changed from a PSP-1000 to a PSP Go, I simply logged into my account on the new PSP and could play my games there as well as on the old one.

Help. I have two kids, if I download a game from the PSN, can I put that game on both devices or do I have buy it twice?? Seems like it should work like iTunes where I can load my music on the four different iPods the family owns.
I am torn - still trying to decide on PSP Go and PSP3000.

it looks cool, and the Bluetooth feature working with the playstations controllers is a plus but thats all there is to it. if you check out the specs you'd be mad to buy a GO if you already own a PSP of earlier models as only so much has been changed, also the button layout isn't appealing to gamers, its appealing only to those who care about saving space, which unless your gonna play it for only 10 minutes a day is a deterrent. downloadable content only is a major minus. many kids buy consoles, but how many kids are gonna know how to use a credit card, or how many parents. the PSN cards help, but, physical game units are the way to go. a game in a box makes for a much heartier Christmas present then a card to download a game online. if you like spending for the sake of spending then by all means buy a GO, its got good technology but if you wanna be real about it, the PSP 3000 is the better option in price and usability. i own neither console, this is non biast perspective.

Just got a Black PSP GO today, its awesome, buttons are nicer then 3000, screen is nicer even though slightly smaller, system itself is smaller, games look a tad bit better, i can confirm that PS3 controller works great with PSP GO. just plug both into usb and follow instructions. I am gonna go out and get some psp component cables so i can play psp games on my tv with ps3 controller,

P.S. I still take it with me everywhere too just rather play on my big screen tv when at home cant wait to try the component cables, thanks
NOW, WHERE IS GTA: LIBERTY CITY STORIES AND GTA: VICE CITY STORIES ON THE PSN

Great questions guys. Thanks for asking. :) It makes our articles more informative for us to seek out the answers.

The PSP Go looks pretty amazing, but I'm one who has a thing for physical media, so I'm still on the fence about it. But I actually don't have an mp3 player, so for me the PSP could serve a number of multimedia uses.

To answer both your questions I've updated the PSP Go features list with these two info bits:

* Built-in BlueTooth. This can be used with BlueTooth headset, PS3's DualShock 3 controller, and tethering.

* The PS3's DualShock 3 controller only works with the PSP Go after first/once connecting both the PSP Go and the controller, via USB, to the PS3. After syncing them up the controllers works for all controls on the PSP Go just by turning it on. An added bonus of doing this is that PSone and PSP games will have rumble support, and you can play 2-player PSone games.

I'm thinking about buying a PSP Go this week, hence I did the research.
