Again: Eye of Providence is a mystery adventure game for DS by CING, the makers of Hotel Dusk.
In Again, you will play as FBI special agent Jonathan Weaver in his investigation to uncover the mystery of his family’s death. His family’s case belongs to a series of related murders called the “Providence Murder Cases” – bizarre murder cases that occurred 18 years ago, all of which are linked by one recurring piece of evidence . . . “The Eye of Providence”, cut from a dollar bill and left at the scene. As the only survivor of the incident, Weaver has been pursuing unanswered questions ever since.
The main hook of the game, which is played by holding the DS like a book and first-person, is Weaver’s “Past Vision” ability. This allows you to view an item or a scene from two perspectives. One in the past and one in the present, but you view these scenes simultaneously! One on each screen. By moving objects around in the present based on their differences from the past, players will be able to uncover clues to help solve the case
The game also uses a very interesting graphical-style that mixes animation with short clips of live-action footage.
