Want a Wii, Xbox 360 or PS3 discount?

The holiday season is just about to start, so the game companies and other retaliers are pulling out all the stops to try and get their gaming system into your hands.

It all started with Sony who slashed $100 off the price of the PlayStation 3, making the system now cost $300 for a PS3 Slim. If you sign up for a Sony credit card deal and your first purchase is $299 or more, for example for a PS3 Slim, you get a $100 credit (hit the link to the left) making the PS3 Slim $199! And when you paid for it, you can cancel the credit card if you don’t need it.

Since the new PS3 price is the same as the Xbox 360, Microsoft had to do something a little drastic as well. Now you can buy a cheap Xbox 360 with this $50 mail-in rebate (hit the link to the left) which will save you $50 off an Xbox 360 Elite making it $249! It’s valid until October 5, 2009.

Finally, Nintendo has dropped the price of the Wii to $200. Which is great, and now thanks to Amazon you can buy a cheap Wii as they are offering a free $25 gift-card (hit the link to the left) if you purchase one through them! It’s valid until October 3, 2009.
