Left 4 Dead DLC expansion pack Crash Course releases on September 29, 2009

Left4Dead Crash Course expansion pack. Release date is September 29, 2009 (Xbox 360, PC)
Left 4 Dead: Crash Course has a release date worldwide of September 29th on the PC (free) and the Xbox 360 ($7).

Crash Course delivers new single-player, multiplayer and co-operative gameplay to both platforms, and bridges the gap between the end of the “No Mercy” campaign and the beginning of “Death Toll” in the original game.

While containing both Survival maps and a Co-operative Campaign, the primary goal of Crash Course is to deliver a complete Versus mode experience in just 30 minutes, resulting in a streamlined version of the game’s existing Versus campaigns.

A recharge timer for infected teammates has also been added, and item spawn behavior has changed for more balanced gameplay.

Left 4 Dead is an action horror game from Valve that blends the social entertainment experience of multiplayer games such as Counter-Strike and Team Fortress with the dramatic, narrative experience made popular in single player action game classics such as the Half-Life series of games. Released in November of 2008, L4D has earned over 50 industry awards from outlets around the world and sold almost 3 million copies worldwide.

I can’t belive I’m saying this! How about the ps3?

mcjakeqcool: Left 4 Dead is exclusive to Xbox 360 on consoles, as well as appearing on PC. Same deal with the sequel. After seeing how slowly Valve’s last PS3 games in The Orange Box ran, I can’t say I blame them. Although I’m sure PS3-only gamers would say Valve need to do future ports themselves instead of having EA do a direct port for them.

WEll, I don’t get the point. Why is it exclusive to Xbox 360 and PC? What is the reason for this?

The main reason is this, Valve hates developing for the PS3. It takes almost double the time to code for its exotic processor!

Why should they port it to PS3? Screw PS3! There are some games that are exclusive for PS3 and no one else gets them. So why not exclusive for Xbox 360? That’s the way it should be. If the idiots that buy PS3 want to play L4D they should buy XBox 360 which is much better anyway. I can’t believe why anyone would buy Sony’s PS3… a company that is responsible for most anti-piracy crap (that doesn’t work anyway) that we get with games, software and movies. One time I asked why other consoles gamers will not get a game that was exclusive for PS3 and the arrogant PS3 moron answer that they (PS3 gamers) don’t want to share it. Well, screw you PS3 fan boys! Is it OK when there are exclusive for PS3 but not for other consoles? As long as there are exclusive for PS3 there will be exclusive for Xbox 360 and Wii. I’m glad that Valve said NO WAY! to PS3. PS3 really is not worth much.

I agree with post by JustMe. PS3 should NOT get this game. And it will NOT get it. I think that PS3 sucks… plain and simple. And any one that supports Sony rubbish is not my friend.
