Halo Waypoint release date is November 5, 2009
Halo fans will want to mark their calender for November 5th. That’s when the Halo Waypoint Xbox Live service will be released.
If you haven’t heard of it before, Halo Waypoint is an Xbox 360-exclusive “destination” service created so that Halo fans can hang out online and catch up on all things Halo. As well as a number of other cool features.
For example there will be exclusive video, trailers, behind-the-scenes footage and reveals that won’t be released in other form. Fans can track their “career” across all of the Halo titles. And, coolest in my eyes, there will be exclusive Achievements and other Halo Waypoint-specific rankings for those people who use the service the most or have been there from the beginning.
All in all, it’s a pretty cool idea and it’ll be interesting to see how it pans out.
