Nova, a Halo-like FPS, announced for iPhone by Gameloft
Gameloft continues their high-quality genre-clone games with a new iPhone FPS called N.O.V.A.
N.O.V.A. is being created to be the iPod’s Halo, and like previous Gameloft titles, it is coming as close as humanly possible to Halo without being a direct copyright violation. Not that that’s necessarily a bad thing.
The sci-fi shooter will have an impressive 3D engine with some of the best iPhone graphics to date, will have 12 single-player levels, and will include local multiplayer modes via wi-fi and Bluetooth. Although it’s not known at this time whether the game will include online multiplayer support or not.
You can also listen to your own tunes while playing via iPod Library Access support. The game is due to hit the App Store before the end of the year.
