Wii Fit Plus releasing on October 4th, 2009. New Wii controller black color and DSi white and pink colors announced
Wii owners will finally be able to add some color to their life . . . although sadly it’s not for the console itself.
Nintendo has announced a black-colored Wii Remote with Wii MotionPlus (that includes a black jacket) and a black Nunchuck for release “this holiday”. Which is November 16th, 2009, at a price of $49.99 for a new black Wii Remote controller with a black Wii MotionPlus accessory package and $19.99 for the separately available black Nunchuk controller add-on.
Because that is the day that Nintendo will also be launching new DSi colors. A pink-colored system and a white-colored DSi will join the previous colors of Blue and Black.
Additionally, Nintendo announced that Wii Fit Plus will be releasing on October 4th. It will replace the current “non-Plus” version and will ship with the Wii Balance Board for a price of $100. It will also be sold as a standalone disc at a budget price of $20 for those who already own the original and a Wii Balance Board.
Wii Fit Plus is an enhanced version of the top-selling game that offers a range of new features, along with new exercises, yoga activities and balance games designed to keep workouts fun. For the first time, users can customize their workouts to target specific areas of their bodies or to fill specific intervals of time.
Sadly it looks like we’ll have to wait for a Western version of the Black Wii.
