LittleBigPlanet: Game of the Year Edition announced for PS3

A LittleBigPlanet: Game of the Year Edition will release for PlayStation 3 on September 8th for a price of $60. Thankfully it packs in a lot of content to give you some bang for your buck.

Here is what is included in the new package:

* Everything that was in the original version is here. “Play. Create. Share” to your heart’s content with a package that has 15 Game of the Year Awards and over 80 awards total.
* 18 user-created levels have been hand-picked by Media Molecule from the over 1 million available. So you know that these are the cream of the crop. Not only do you get these stages in the package, but Media Molecule also interviewed all the creators, which you’ll get to watch to see how the mastery is formed.
* 7 Packages from the PlayStation Store, which were released as DLC, will be included in this package. A savings of nearly $30. This will give you a ton of additional costumes, stickers, objects, “The Paintinator” and more. T
* The included DLC packs are: Metal Gear Solid Level Pack – featuring the “Paintinator” paintball gun, Metal Gear Solid Costumes, Monsters Costumes, Monsters Pack, History Costumes, History Pack, Animals Costumes.
* Last but not least, it will include a a special voucher code for the upcoming ModNation racers online Beta.

Sounds great for someone like me, who hasn’t bought the game yet.
