Assassin’s Creed 2 developers diary 2: Power to the People
The second Assassin’s Creed 2 Developer’s Diary is called “Power to the People”.
In the video below, the development team discusses the lead character, his backstory, and major NPC characters he will come into contact with that will help him along the way. This includes of course Leonardo da Vinci who will hook you up with his crazy inventions that you can use.
The most interesting aspects of the developer’s diary though come from their discussions on the game’s economic system and the crowd systems. The former will actually allow the players to shop in the game and buy whatever weapons they want at any time, instead of feeding the player a limited range of weapons at specific intervals as you’d usually find in most titles.
