Capcom has officially announced 10 classic PS1 and PSP games that will be released on the PlayStation Network very soon! The list is shorter than I was hoping, but still offers a girth of fantastic titles.
The Capcom PSN Classics include:
* Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded (UMD Legacy)
* Mega Man Powered Up (UMD Legacy)
* Dino Crisis (PlayStation Legacy)
* Powerstone Collection (UMD Legacy)
* Mega Man Maverick Hunter X (UMD Legacy)
* Resident Evil 2 (PlayStation Legacy)
* Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower (UMD Legacy)
* Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max (UMD Legacy)
* Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (PlayStation Legacy)
* Capcom Puzzle World (UMD Legacy)
The title will range between $6 and $10 for PS1 titles and $20 for PSP games. The UMD Legacy titles will only be playable on a PSP, even if you download it on the PS3. But the PlayStation Legacy games can also be played on a PSP!
I think it’s great that Nintendo is re-releasing the Resident Evil titles, even though I own them in various forms. Particularly for the Wii. I’m also very glad to see them releasing both Dino Crisis 1 (which I never finished) and Capcom Puzzle World, which includes these five puzzle games: Capcom Puzzle World is a compilation of puzzle games created by Capcom for the Sony PSP. Puzzle World contains 5 puzzle games: Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, Buster Bros., Super Buster Bros., Buster Buddies, and Block Block.
PS: Please note that some of these have already been released earlier this month, so be sure to check the PlayStation classics section of your PSN Store.
