SS3 Broly confirmed to join Dragon Ball: Raging Blast cast as game-exclusive transformation

Super Saiyan 3 Broly was revealed in the latest issue of Japanese magazine V-Jump. According to the article he will appear as a first-ever, exclusive transformation in the Dragon Ball: Raging Blast videogame!

Never seen in the Dragon Ball Z movies, Broly’s SS3 will appear as part of a “what-if” scenario in the story mode. This is one of the two “exclusive characters” said to be coming to Dragon Ball: Raging Blast when it’s released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in November 2009.

The Super Saiyan 3 transformation was also shown off in the new trailer released by Namco Bandai on the GamesCom 2009 tradeshow in Germany. The Legendary Super Saiyan Broly was pretty much unbeatable in his Legendary SS transformation, so you can be sure his SS3 form is going to be crazy awesome!

Omq fu*kin sweet the series really needed this hopefully the videogame storymode will explai some loop hole in the plot thou and fix some of the issues wit the timeline

Epic win. Just when you thought Broly’s power couldn’t get any greater…it f*cking did. Ever since I saw Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan, he has been my favorite DBZ character, and has been a wise choice in every DBZ game he has appeared in.

HIS POWER IS MAXIMUM

I was going to blow this game off and wait for the next, which will probably be the same thing but with more more more, but now I am most certainly getting this. I do hope that they continue to add ideas like this, and keep carrying them through this excellent game series.

Gogeta: I think I figured out why I got confused with SS2 mode. It’s because when a SS1 is charging, the electrical sparks make it look like SS2 when it’s not. At least I vaguely remember seeing them on him in a Broly movie. Anyway, I’ve removed the reference.
