First The Sims 3: World Adventures video. New Simlish songs from Nelly Furtado and more

Sims go Indiana Jones in The Sims 3: World Adventures expansion pack. Explore France, Egypt and China
Electronic Arts gave some new details on The Sims 3: World Adventures at GamesCom 2009. Including a new trailer.

They announced that several artists will be recording hit songs in Simlish for the upcoming expansion pack! Amongst them are: Pixie Lott, Stefanie Heinzmann, Young Punx and Nelly Furtado. With more to come.

In the game, as previously revealed, your Sims can travel to famous destinations around the world, including France, Egypt and China. Where they can interact with the new townsfolk and even go explore a pyramid or a cave to find hidden treasure!

EA also revealed that, incredibly, The Sims Channel on Youtube is the #1 sponsored channel on the site! Additionally, The Sims 3 is also #1 on Twitter! Interesting facts. Here’s some more: “Sims 3 players have already created hundreds of thousands of custom objects, sims and stories. Nearly 45 million objects have been downloaded to date,” says Julie Turner of the Redwood, California Sims Studios. Finally, over 100 million Sims games have been sold worldwide!

And now, here is the first trailer for The Sims 3: World Adventures expansion pack. Which will be released on November 16th in America and November 20th in Europe.
